How does Sylvester work?
Our computer vision analyzes five facial regions, trained on thousands of real cats and validated against veterinary pain scoring scales:
Head Position, Ears, Eyes, Whiskers, Muzzle.
Unlike general AI tools/LMMs, Sylvester's model is purpose-built for feline facial analysis, trained on expert-annotated datasets of cats with various health conditions. Datasets that do not exist in the wide world. Our computer vision technology focuses exclusively on the subtle indicators validated by feline pain research.
